Item Pine River Anthology 1999(Pine River Anthology at Alma College, 1999) Amman, Sarah; Timm, Laura; Lumpt, Jennifer; Beyer, Stacey; Grantham, Heidi; Symonds, TraceyThe Pine River Anthology has entered a stage of metamorphosis. This year makes the first in our attempt to equalize poetry and prose. Also, this is the first year the Pine River Anthology will be found on the Internet, which can be found via the English Department homepage. The introduction of color artwork was made possible by funding from Student Congress. We greatly appreciate this, and we hope that it makes this publication even more exciting. Color also allows for better representation of the quality of artwork of Alma College students. Enjoy!Item Pine River Anthology 1998(Pine River Anthology at Alma College, 1998) Leonard, Alise; Tripp, Jennifer; Downs, Drew; Duffield, Quintessa; Nichols, Lydia; Snyder, Karl; Toscano, Maria; Vendeville, Jamie; Tollenaar, BenjaminThe Pine River Anthology is an annual publication produced through the combined efforts of the English and Art Departments of Alma College, Alma, Michigan. Instead of splitting the editorial staff into fiction editors and poetry editors, we worked as one group. This approach provided us with a more cohesive body of writing. The submissions were kept anonymous as our goal was to produce a collection of work representative of Alma College as a whole. Thanks to all who submitted. We look forward to and encourage future involvement. Thanks also to our faculty advisors, Sandy Lopez-lsnardi and Dr. William Palmer.Item Pine River Anthology 1996(Pine River Anthology at Alma College, 1996) Patel, Atulbhai G.; Palmer, Bonnie; Damstra, Emily; MacKillop, Jennifer; Grieg, Jessica; Hutter, Stuart; Petrocelli, Jennifer; Ryan, Jenn; Sanderson, Scott; Williams, SeanAs writers and artists, we realize the courage it takes to let others read and view our work. We would like to commend all of the contributors for taking that first step. This year we had tremendous response from the student body. When we read the submissions, the authors' names remained anonymous to keep our attention on the content of the work and not the author. Our decisions were difficult because all the submissions were well written, covering many different subjects that dominate our lives. We wish we could have published all of them. Many people submitted artwork. Although they were excellent pieces and represented a variety of media and contexts, we were able to select only a few. It was astonishing how well the art illustrated the written work, adding an important visual component to this anthology. We would like to encourage and invite all students who are interested in working for the Pine River Anthology to join our staff next year. Anyone who has any interest in English or Art is also encouraged to contribute by making submissions to the anthology. We would like to thank those who took time out of their busy schedules to help us put out this magazine. We would especially like to thank our Faculty Advisor Robert Rozier for his input on the production. We are eternally grateful for his assistance.Item Pine River Anthology 1995(Pine River Anthology at Alma College, 1995) Jones, Liz; Burhans, Adam; Patel, Atul; Palmer, Bonnie; Bird, Jeanette; Hubbard, Cynthia; Petrocelli, Jenny; Smith, Rhonda; Williams, SeanThe Pine River Anthology is an annual publication produced through the combined efforts of the English and Art Departments of Alma College, Alma, Michigan.
