Abstract
Medical assistance in dying is wrong because it minimizes the value of life. It is also known as active euthanasia which is when an individual demands a doctor to end their life through lethal injection. It is often requested when a patient has overwhelming pain or suffering that makes them feel like their pain is no longer bearable or their life has no quality. MAID intends to end suffering, but allowing it opens the door to serious ethical and moral concerns.
