Description
In 1959 the new science building, a gift of the Dow Foundation of Midland, will be completed at a cost of $1.5 million. The building houses classrooms and laboratories for the study of chemistry, physics, boilogy, botany, geology, astronomy and mathematic, as well as faculty offices and a small library facility. Included in the building are a 100-seat amphitheater, a planetarium, a 300 seat auditorium and a greenhouse.
