This collection of poetry journeys through religious deconstruction, exploring themes of gender, sexuality, and generational trauma. While unpacking what it means to be a daughter, wife, and woman, the manuscript draws on confessional, persona, and found poem techniques, emphasizing the connection between individual and collective experiences of womanhood. Each section is labeled after a book of the Bible, creating an overarching narrative of a woman leaving home, experiencing the world, and finding herself.
