1950 Alma College Alpha Theta Sorority. Alpha Theta is the oldest sorority on campus. It was founded in 1870 by Mrs. Elizabeth Hunter. The organization was originally named the Alpha Theta Literary Society but the group voted in 1950 to change the name to Alpha Theta Society
