Bob Devaney '39. Bob was captain of the Alma College football team and selected as the Most Valuable Player in 1938. He coached High School football in Michigan for several years before becoming an assistant coach at Michigan State University. From there he went on to coach Wyoming and Nebraska and became one of the greatest coaches in American football.
