Abstract
In 2025, the Alma College Writing Center (WC) staff adopted a values statement that emphasizes advocating for writers and writing. To create and maintain an inclusive site of writing, the WC must promote a broad understanding of writing, language, and literacy, and conduct and share research related to writing centers, writing pedagogies, and rhetoric and writing that strengthens our programming and commitment to writers.
In our multivocal panel, consultants at the WC showcase some of the scholarship and research-informed programming at the WC. While these projects are informed by and inform the work of the WC, they move beyond WC borders to inform the culture of writing, reading, and inquiry at Alma College.
