Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine how sport confidence, body functionality, and sports self-efficacy predict sports performance perception (SPP) among collegiate athletes. Specifically, this research will evaluate differences in SPP between individual and team sport athletes and among athletes across differing sport categories, particularly ball, power/endurance, and aesthetic. This research aims to raise awareness among student-athletes about how psychological effects from sports may play a role in athletic performance.
