Abstract
I will prove that God exists. In philosophy God is defined as a Being that is all-good, all- knowing, and all-powerful and there are multiple arguments that state that a Being like this is necessary. I will present the fine-tuning argument. The finetuning argument states that because our universe is the way that it is and is designed in a way that can sustain life in a highly improbable way, God has to exist. The argument speaks about how the physical constants and laws in our universe such as the force of gravity, the asteroid belt around our solar system, and many other constants had to be exactly the way that they are in order to sustain life or else nothing would exist. I will present the specific numbers and facts about these constants in order to illustrate the sheer unlikeliness of them existing in the state that they are in. All of these constants coming to be perfectly and working together in exactly the right way is proof that God exists. In other words, the universe is finely tuned for life in a way that would be deeply improbable if God doesn't exist. I will argue that intuitively, our first reaction to any finely tuned system such as our universe is to know that there is a Creator. To summarize, after examining the state of our universe and knowing its requirements for existence, we can state that God is the Creator of our universe and thus, God exists.
