Abstract
Thanks to the Alma College Copy Center; Graph Ads, Incorporated; Carpenter Paper Company; the English and Art & Design Departments; and especially the writers and artists who made this special issue come to life. I am very grateful to Ron Kapp and Jim Tipton for their continued caring. This Pine River Handmade was co-edited by Mark Wangberg and Jim Daniels.
The Pine River Handmade was inspired by my appreciation for the folio, handmade postcards in mailings by The Alternative Press, a love of fine papers, and a conviction that Alma College had a group of students and alumni that could put fine visual art and creative writing together into one cumulative statement.
